100 Days in Deadland by Berinn Rae

Cover Design by Berinn Rae

The world ended on a Thursday.

In less than three days, the world succumbed to a pestilence that decimated the living. In its place rose a new species: vicious, gruesome, wandering plague monsters with an insatiable hunger for the living. There is no shelter. No government. In this new world, you’re either a survivor or a victim.

Still in her twenties, Cash has seen thousands die, only to walk again. An office worker with few survival skills, she teams up with Clutch, a grizzled big rig driver with PTSD. Together, they fight through the nine circles of hell, with nothing but Clutch’s military experience and Cash’s belief that humanity is not yet lost. As they fight to survive in the zombie inferno, they quickly discover that nowhere is safe from the undead… or the living.

This is the beginning after the end.

100 Days in Deadland is a journey through “Dante’s Inferno,” the first poem in Dante Alighieri's classic tale Divine Comedy… zombie apocalypse style!

Birthday Bash! Happy Birthday Abbi Glines!

Today is the wonderful and talented Abbi Glines Birthday and I am participating in a birthday bash to celebrate this amazing woman/author. All of the blogs in this birthday bash are haring their favorite Abbi moments on her special day, so I do hope you check out the other blogs as well, to see their birthday wishes!! And be sure to check out the giveaway at the bottom of the post in honor of the birthday bash!!

Special thanks for AToMR for hosting and putting together this amazing birthday bash, and thanks for inviting me to participate!!

__________________________________

My first book I read by Abbi Glines was her debut novel, Breathe. I was reviewing books and a different review site and we had gotten this book to review. I thought the cover was interesting, but I wasn't entirely sure what it was about. After the first few pages though, I was hooked, and I couldn't put this book down. I knew once I finished Breathe, Abbi Glines was one of my most favorite authors, and I wanted to read everything she was going to write.

Breathe went through many costume changes with the cover, but each one to me marks the height of its popularity. I remember the first one very well, and was very excited when she got a new cover, because it fit Jax and Sadie very well. This is the cover on the paper back copy I did get! And the third cover honestly just takes your breath away, just like this story did to me!

I do have to say, by far, my favorite series by Abbi Glines is the Existence Series. My heart will always be in the paranormal, so when I had heard Abbi was putting out a paranormal story, I wanted this book in my hands ASAP! And when I finally did get it, I was not disappointed in the least. This was everything you could want in a paranormal story and more. I fell in love with Dank right away and the view she paints of life and death in this story is a view I feel people can bring to their own lives. She made this series personal in a paranormal world. I can't say enough about this series.

When she decided to do a novella for Leif, I was so happy. She completed  every side of the story and this is why she is one of my favorite authors!!!

Happy Birthday Abbi, thank you for all the amazing stories and for being such an amazing author, and friend. I hope you have a wonderful day!!!

Cover Reveal: The Trouble with Goodbye by Sarra Cannon

Title: The Trouble With Goodbye
Author: Sarra Cannon
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Age Group: New Adult
Cover Designer: Okay Creations
Reveal organized by: AToMR Tours
Expected release: May 2013

One night can change everything…
Two years ago, Leigh Anne Davis shocked everyone in tiny Fairhope, Georgia when she broke up with her wealthy boyfriend to attend an Ivy League university a thousand miles away. At school, she finds a happiness and independence she’s never known.
Until one terrifying night takes it all away from her.
With no place else to go, Leigh Anne heads home to reclaim her old life. A life she worked so hard to escape. On the outside, she seems like the same girl everyone has always known. But deep inside, she’s hiding a terrible secret.
That’s when she meets Knox Warner, a troubled newcomer to Fairhope. His eyes have the same haunted look she sees every day in the mirror, and when she’s near him, the rest of the world fades away. But being with Knox would mean disappointing everyone all over again. If she wants to save what’s left of her old life, she has no choice but to say goodbye to him forever.
Only, the trouble with goodbye is that sometimes it’s about courage and sometimes it’s about fear. And sometimes you’re too broken to know the difference until it’s too late.

About the Author

Since the series began, Sarra has sold over 120,000 copies and recently signed a contract with Sea Lion Books to create a graphic novel adaptation of Beautiful Demons, the first book in the series.
Sarra lives in North Carolina with her amazing husband, her new baby boy, and her teeny tiny Pomeranian, Snickerdoodle.
