AVERY PIKE is a commodity. No, more than a commodity. Her existence is guarded at all costs.

She’s a water Elementalist, the strongest of her dwindling kind. She creates steam to provide energy to fuel Dome Three: the only thing standing between humanity and an earth ravaged by World War III. No steam, no Dome. No Dome, no life.

Or so she thinks.

That is, until a mysterious man offers her a way out of having to donate steam. A way to escape the corrupt government of Dome Three. While the offer seems too good to be true, Avery is intrigued.

But when she arrives to her new home, she realizes the grass isn’t any less dead on this side of the fence. Instead, the lies are just hidden better.

…Which means digging deeper.

When Avery enlists the help of her friends to uncover the truth, it may make her wonder if she was better off being a government tool than searching for freedom.

Some secrets are better left concealed, but humankind was never meant to live in a cage. And when you can control the most sought after resource, you can learn to control anything…including the fate of your world.

About the Author: Megan began her journey into writing as a college junior during winter finals at the encouragement of a friend. What resulted was Bridger, Megan's first full-length novel. Since then she has written the second book in the series, Traitor, and a stand-alone novel (which will hopefully become a series!) called The Guardian Chronicles: Forbidden. When not writing, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and Great Dane, aptly named Dozer. She enjoys snowboarding, playing xBox, and crocheting. Music is a huge part of her life and drives her writing. Her favorite bands are Muse, Bon Iver, Florence + the Machine, and The Civil Wars. Megan resides in Kentucky, near two of her writerly tweeps Hope Collier and Beth Isaacs, and swears it's Hope's fault she's living in the land of the banjos, but wouldn't have it any other way.

Blog Tour Sign Up via Step Into Fiction Counterpart by K.J. Hunter-Brown

We are helping out  K.J Hunter-Brown, to organize a blog tour for her debut novel, Counterpart (NA Paranormal Romance).
The tour will run from July 1-12, we are looking to schedule reviews, author & character interviews, book excerpt posts, guest blog posts and giveaways. Giveaways will be for eBook copies.

For twenty year old Maya Simmons, being a succubus wasn't much of a worry. It was when she needed to fulfill the demon inside her that annoyed her. The lifestyle of drugs, alcohol and sex wasn't one she bragged about, especially to the one guy she knew she could never have, Tristan James.

Much of Maya's college life consisted of flirting with Tristan, seeing Tristan, watching Tristan, but never once did she ever attempt to taste the empowering energy that consisted inside him. She wouldn't dare. It almost helped that he had a girlfriend.

But when a threat of Tristan's life comes into play, and a rogue succubus is out to kill, Maya must play detective with her fellow succubus and incubus, Melinda and Daniel, before it's too late. Not only does she need to find out who's killing people, but Maya needs to make sure no one finds out, especially Tristan, and especially the SIA.

Sometimes, secrets become too much to handle. And the one thing Maya always wanted may be within more reach than she thought.

But it could be too late, because the clock's ticking and the heartbeat's slowing.

Please sign up if you'd like to participate in this tour!!

Jude has spent the whole twenty three years of his life running. From what, he wasn't quite sure. His mother tried to keep him safe; a low profile, a constant move on the horizon, a week's pay always stashed away. She tried to instill in him that he was special somehow, though would never elaborate. He never felt different. He was so completely normal and vanilla that he wondered if it had all been in her head. But then she was murdered and all he saw was a running silhouette of a man as his mother said three final words to him. Three words that changed his whole being.

Never stop running…

Now he's semi-settled into a big town. The college is huge and easy to blend into. It's been three months since he had to move because 'Biloxi', as he calls the man who killed his mother, found him once more.

Then Marley, an eighteen year old girl who is as infuriating as she is blissfully ignorant of her gorgeousness, smashes into his car with hers. Then smashes into his life as he realizes that whatever it is he has that Biloxi wants, she has it, too. And now, they're after them both.

Blog Update from Samantha March

And the editing fun continues! Last time I checked in, I had just finished the first round of self-edits and was working on the first round of re-writing. Those are both behind me, and now I’m doing another read-through before I send off to the awesome three beta readers who have stepped up for me. Or at least that is what I thought…until last night, around 3am. I woke up after dreaming about my characters – a full on dream, where my characters had come to life and were playing out in my mind like a movie scene. I LOVE when this happens. As I’ve been writing and re-writing and reading and editing, there has been something with my plot that just seemed … off. I couldn’t for the life of me figure it out, no matter how much reading I did, notes I took, or words I scrutinized. All it took was a dream for me put my finger on it. And once those pieces clicked into the place, I even started getting ideas for a title, which had previously eluded me, no matter how hard I tried to think of one. I am so excited to finish this read-through and clear up any little errors, then go back in for some heavy re-writing. And then for the nerves to kick in once I hand my MS off to the betas!

Keep checking Samantha's Blog for future book updates!!

May news from Berinn Rae

Just returned from RT Booklovers Convention in Kansas City, and it was fantastic! I co-hosted the Intergalactic Bar & Grille Party with Linnea Sinclair, PJ Schnyder, and more! Then, I co-hosted the Carnival Curiosities with Beth Ciotta, Heather Graham, Elle J Rossi, Erin McCarthy, Kathy Love, Alexandra Sokoloff, Kathleen Pickering, and Harley Jane Kozak. Both parties were a wild time and many, many books were given away! Even with all the fabulous parties and interviews I did, my con highlight was meeting F. Paul Wilson and talking about writing, airplanes, and other things. He's a brilliant man and an incredible writer.

For other news, since May is Zombie Awareness Month, I posted the first part of my upcoming zombie novel, 100 Days in Deadland, to my website and Wattpad early! A new part will be released every week or so until all nine parts are online. The novel will be released August 1 in ebook everywhere. This is my first non-romance novel, and I've made the decision to publish it under my real name (Rachel Aukes) so that readers will always know that Berinn Rae novels are romance.
Have a great month!

Keep up with Berinn(Rachel) at her website, www.rachelaukes.com
