S.M. McEachern (also known as Susan) has an honors degree in International Development from Dalhousie University. As an author, Susan combined her political background with her love of young adult fiction to create her debut novel Sunset Rising. In March 2014 she published Worlds Collide, the second book in the series. She just finished writing the third book, New World Order, which has an anticipated release date of January 2015.

With a background in international development and resource management, as well as being the wife of a military officer, McEachern has had first hand experience in international affairs and policies. She attributes Elizabeth Mann Borgese—daughter of Nobel prize winner, Thomas Mann—as one of the greatest influences on her view of world politics. McEachern had the privilege to work and study under Mann Borgese, an author, teacher and political activist for world peace. The first book of a series, Sunset Rising combines Susan’s knowledge of politics and resource management with her love for action and adventure. (© http://smmceachern.com/)

Samantha March

Samantha March fell in love with books at a young age. Thanks to her mother and grandmother, both avid readers, Samantha followed in their footsteps. Field trips to the library highlighted her week, and she went on to do volunteer work at her local library while in middle school. Her early works closely resembled characters from The Baby-Sitters Club and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movies. In high school, Samantha excelled in writing courses and even the mundane tasks of writing history papers.

A slew of real work wake-up calls caused Samantha to shelve her dream of becoming an author. She took what she considered the practical route and enrolled in a business college in Des Moines, Iowa, where she graduated with honors in 2009. But her thoughts of writing never dissolved. In October of 2009, Samantha started the book blog ChickLitPlus.com. From her small blog, Samantha meant fellow readers and writers who pushed her to continue her goal of becoming published. Whenever I think of a story idea or try to come up with a plot-line, no matter how ‘normal’ it may seem in the beginning, I always end up adding ghosts or witches, demons or zombies. Something paranormal finds its way into every story, one way or another. It’s just who I am. I read Tarot Cards, love horror movies, and am entranced by a full moon.

When I was growing up, I lived in a log cabin in the woods. The perfect setting for a horror novel, if you ask me! Our whole family – Mom, Dad, my sister, me and my brother – all worked together to build the house from the ground up.

Reading was another one of my favorite ways to escape into my own imagination. I loved reading books by authors like Christopher Pike, Lois Duncan, and Stephen King. Anything that made me just a little too scared to turn off the lights and go to sleep. Later, my love for horror and fantasy extended into movies and video games, too. (© www.sarracannon.com)

T. Michelle Nelson

T. Michelle Nelson became enamored with vampires at an early age when she watched George Hamilton in “Love at First Bite.” As she got older, her tastes leaned more toward the dark and morose, but her love of all things vampire never wavered.  Little has changed in her thirty-something years, except now T.  makes up her own macabre stories of the undead… mixed of course with a splash of romance, tough heroines and tons of dark humor.

T. Michelle Nelson is a native of Benton, Kentucky and a graduate of Murray State University holding a degree in Education.  Currently she resides in picturesque Mount Vernon, Ohio, which
is also the setting of her Lily Drake series.  The first book in the series, Life and Death of Lily Drake, is available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Kobo, and your other favorite online book stores in paperback as well as e-reader formats.  The second book, 'Til Death Do Us Part, is being released by Inkspell Publishing in April of 2013 and currently, T. is working hard to finish her third book.
When she isn’t writing, you can usually find her singing out of key while playing Rock Band with her husband and son, watching B-Horror movies or wrestling with her two ill-behaved fur babies, Buddy Perro and Bunchie. (© http://www.tmichellenelson.com/)

Trisha Leigh

Trisha is an author of Young Adult fiction from Kansas City, MO. She’s currently writing/revising/cursing her next novel.

Raised by a family of ex-farmers and/or almost rock stars from Southeastern Iowa, Trisha always loved to tell stories. After graduating from Texas Christian University with a degree in Film, she began to search for a way to release the voices in her head. Trisha wrote a thriller and a couple of ghost stories, getting her feet wet and learning with each discarded manuscript. When she attempted her first YA novel, which would become Whispers in Autumn, she was hooked. Trisha knew then her heart lay with telling stories about and for young adults, and for anyone who loves to read and recapture those fleeting “first” moments.

Her spare time is spent reviewing television and movies, spending time with a large, loud, loving family, reading any book that falls into her hands, and being dragged into the fresh air by her dogs Yoda and Jilly. Like everyone, Trisha’s had some ups and downs, but life is good. She’s writing. She’s happy. (© http://trishaleigh.com)
