The Otherside Series has a Film Option Agreement!

Directly from Denise's Blog:

I may be in Paris, but things keep happening in the US while I’m gone!

After months and months of negotiation, I’m so excited to announce that The Otherside Series, my young adult science fiction romance series, has a film rights agreement!

Lyrical Moon Productions has obtained the film option rights to HERE and THERE!!!

They tell me that the screenplay is being worked up and and original music is being written and recorded.  Actress singer/song writer Bryce Hitchcock has been attached to the project for the role of Julia Phillips.

Bryce narrated the audiobook for HERE, and the soon to be released THERE.

You can find out more about Bryce Hitchcock on her Facebook page and follow her on Twitter @brycehitchcock.

I’ll post more details as I get them!

Keep up to date with everything with this series over at Denise's Blog!

June news from Berinn Rae (Rachel Aukes)

Explosion's launch is right around the corner (July 1), and is now up for pre-buy on Amazon. I also have a short story called "Envy's Revenge" coming up in a sci-fi romance anthology this summer. More details to come on that next month! In other news, I've been working my butt off on writing 100 Days in Deadland. It's Dante's Inferno, retold zombie apocalypse style! Isn't the cover fun?!  100 Days in Deadland comes out August 1, but you can get a sneak peek on my website. For more fun, I'm hosting a giveaway on Goodreads for a signed copy of 100 Days in Deadland when it comes out. Be sure to sign up! Oh, and one thing you'll see on the cover of 100 Days in Deadland...the author is Rachel Aukes. Yeah, that's me! It's my real name. I've gone by Berinn Rae (Rae is my middle name and "Berinn" is old German for "murderess" because how fun is that!) on all my romance books and had decided to clearly differentiate my romance titles from my non-romance titles. All my books are speculative fiction (science fiction, fantasy, horror)--the different names just help you pick out how much heat you'd like in your stories. Have a great month!
